Today, most of the orthodontic clinics use Moyers tables at the orthodontic model analysis during mixed dentition, to indicate the mcsio-distal widths of the permanent canines and premolars, which have not been erupted. However, these tables were prepared for Americans, which may cause the practitioner to get wrong results when indicating the real mesio-distal widths of the permanent canines and premolars. The purpose of this study; is to prepare a Moyers table for Turkish people by determining the sum of the mesio-distal widths of the lower anterior teeth, and the mesio-distal widths of the lower and upper permanent canines and premolars. In İ60 cases, the mesio-distal widths of all the permanent teeth except the molars were measured directly from the mouth, and in this way groups were performed according to the mesio-distal widths of the lower anterior teeth. Descriptive statistical values for the mesio-distal widths of the permanent canines and premolars that are in the performed groups were measured. As a conclusion of our study: Turkish childrens' average values are less than 15% probability values which Moyers had suggested and that it will be suitable to use Moyers 50% probability values both at the maxilla and the mandibula. In addition to these findings, Turkish childrens' average values were determined as alternatives to the values that are at the Moyers tables.
