Diastemas occur with teeth migration to the spaces, which occur in permanent dentition because of congenital dental agenesis; that causes disharmonies in maxillar and mandibular dental arch length. In this study skeletal and dental arch asymmetry of anterior dental agenesis subject were investigated; 10 unilateral anterior dental agenesis patient and 12 bilateral dental agenesis patient were selected. With the aim of seeing the asymmetry in normal individuals control group was formed from 10 subjects who don't have dental agenesis and have normal occlusion. In this investigation on the anteroposterior radiographs and dental models, in the group who had unilateral dental agenesis, in the dental region, on transversal and anteroposterior direction, while statistically significant asymetry was determined; significant difference was seen in maxillary region in the group who had bilateral dental agenesis.
